Dropping this month is rag & bone’s limited-edition capsule with ArkAir, a collaboration we’re really excited about.

Anyone familiar with rag & bone knows it to be a brand that really captures that elusive New York aesthetic: at once edgy yet unassuming. For fall, it’s teamed up with ArkAir, whose parent company, Arktis, is known for its military and special forces gear. For rag & bone, whose past collections have included military references, this was an opportunity to design some next-level technical outerwear and accessories.

If you’re into military ’fits, as a lot of the Highsnobiety staffers are, you’ll want to check out this capsule collection. The Military Smock features a camouflage print – at first glance. A closer look reveals a modern interpretation that’ll hit hard on the city streets (it’s also available in a solid khaki, as an alternative). The fabric is entirely waterproof and is sourced from a technical mil in Ireland, and the jacket comes with a reversible nylon liner – trust that this will keep you warm this fall.

For a quieter option, we like the Coaches Jacket, which has a clean, minimal shape, but with the same technical construction. It also features a waterproof shell and includes a netted lining. The drawstring hem and snap buttons give it a classic vibe.

Other pieces in the collection include a nylon bucket hat and nylon backpack. The rag & bone X ArkAir capsule hits stores and rag-bone.com this month.
